The leaders of our Christian Education program have chosen the Pittsfield Youth Workshop as their Advent Project for this year. Your donations to this program are greatly appreciated.

The Pittsfield Youth Workshop (PYW) is available to youth in grades six through twelve from Pittsfield and surrounding towns. Along with a very successful Mentor Program, and countless trips and excursions, PYW operates a Drop-In Center, Monday through Friday, 3-6 p.m. Youth have the opportunity to hang out with friends, play games, cook, do arts and crafts, work on school projects and homework, and learn to play musical instruments — along with many other productive activities!

Youth do not pay membership fees.. All costs associated with operating the Drop-In Center are covered by grants, fundraising, and donations. PYW’s yearly operating budget for the Drop-In Center totals $10,200.00. This includes heating oil, phones and internet, electric, water and sewer. Along with these indirect costs, PYW has many other expenses that are partially covered by grants and foundations.
